Only one problem exists, if you couldn´t export the vmdk disk files before, because ESX 2.x monolithic disk files are incompatible with the VMware Server files.

My tool (command line for using in scripts or with gui) converts the disk files (create a descriptor file for the original vmdk) automatically.

If you use Vizioncore esxRanger for backup, my tool helps to convert the flat file for the use with VMware Server.

So go one step further in creating a cheap DR solution.
